On the other hand, both Kerry and Edwards are committing major resources to Missouri and Kerry is expecting two solid endorsements, including that of Jean Carnahan. Missouri is going to be key, no doubt about it.
For Howard Dean, one "good place" to "avoid" might be MO -- according to state party "operatives." They say he "shouldn't waste one thin dime, or one minute, on Gephardt's home turf." Operative: "Voters here are not going to forgive the way Dean treated Gephardt in Iowa. I don't think you'll find any major person coming out for Dean. I'm fairly certain about that."
